Zune is going to be a lot like an Apple iPod music player along with iTunes. Microsoft is putting together a product line called Zune.

Microsoft acknowledged the projects existence to Billboard Magazine in an interview with Chris Stephenson who is Microsoft’s new general manager of marketing for MSN Entertainment Business. Stephenson said that Zune is the “company's strongest effort yet to rein in Apple Computer's iTunes - iPod juggernaut, currently responsible for about 70 per cent of the digital music market and 75 per cent of the portable digital music player market.”
